Passo Passo primarily focuses on producing and managing movie and audio projects
that involve translation. We create subtitles and dub for broadcasts, theater-release
films, DVDs, PR videos and other media. We also record narrations and produce
audio educational materials, and handle other projects that involve image,
sound and language. We have rich experience in producing Japanese-language
pieces broadcast in Japan, as well as films shown in both Japanese and many
other languages at film festivals overseas. We deal successfully with new formats
that transcend traditional production styles, and handle specialized languages.
We have the experience and ability to generate optimal proposals that will
efficiently realize the quality required by our customers.
Passo Passo started as a professional production team. All of our members have advanced language skills and broad experience in production management, direction and translation.
After many years of producing high-quality programming, we have developed an extensive network of professionals including post-production and other engineering staff, directors, actors, scriptwriters, translators, and musicians. This enables us to create a flexible production system with relatively few company personnel.
We handle everything from analog video tapes to digital media, NTSC format to
High Definition-TV, and were one of the first in our field to enter the digital
age. This ongoing experience with emerging technologies enables us to provide
production support for film,
High Definition-TV, DVD, video games, and other media.
Having dealt with content in Japanese and many other languages, we've had the opportunity to create an extended network both in Japan and abroad comprised of cultural and linguistic experts, translators, and actors. Our linguistic capabilities go beyond European languages to include Asian, Middle Eastern, and African languages, supplemented by our ability to conduct recording sessions abroad.
